Sometimes Type 2 adventures can take you further than two 750mL flasks can carry you. Whether you’re in familiar territory or not, the ability to turn a murky stream into crisp, drinkable hydration is a game changer.

How it Works:

1. Unscrew your Type2 Gear soft flask cap.
2. Thread the filter into the base of the cap.
3. Fill your 750mL or 500mL Flask from any freshwater source.
4. Screw the cap back on and drink. The pressure of the soft flask pushes water through the membrane as you sip.

Warning: it's important to never let the filter freeze after it's been used. Ice crystals can crack the micron fibers. If you plan on using the filter in freezing temperatures, ensure the filter is completely dry.
